VESI provides additional energy supply security by securing Firm Transportation Service on various interstate pipelines along with managing Firm Storage Service agreements. Storage service allows for redelivery of gas during peak consumption periods, providing for both reliable pricing and delivery. VESI also prepares gas requirement forecasts for our customers, submit all necessary Local Distribution Companies and interstate pipeline nominations, and manage all Electronic Bulletin Board requirements. Further, to minimize or eliminate exposure to daily and/or monthly penalties imposed by the LDC, VESI manages gas supplies to stay within acceptable balancing guidelines.

VESI in addition, audits the monthly energy invoice for transportation volumes and rate accuracy and notifies the LDC, on your behalf, of any discrepancies. VESI provides each customer with a timely, monthly invoice, and offers consolidated commodity billing for multiple meters and/or locations. And finally, to help maintain accurate records of gas supply usage, customized reports are tailored to the specific needs of the customer. Reports may include consumption, transportation costs, LDC charges and comparisons of prior periods
