What’s Happening in May in Cleveland

Spring has arrived and with the warm weather comes a plethora of activities to enjoy with the entire family! Cleveland is no exception, with festivals, neighborhood block parties and cultural celebrations happening throughout the month of May. Additionally, most of these events support local community causes, so having a little fun can actually make a difference! While there are too many events to mention, we’ve done a little of the work to find a few festivals and neighborhood highlights that should earn a spot on your calendar.

Cinco de Mayo Cleveland, May 5th, Berea Fairgrounds

There’s a lot more than chips and salsa to experience during Cleveland’s largest Cinco de Mayo celebration. This cultural festival held in Berea Fairgrounds in Middleberg Heights offers food, entertainment and fun for all ages.  Events and activities for kids and families dominate the daylight schedule, and the “loco fiesta mood” kicks after the sun goes down. Don’t miss this great opportunity to experience culture and enjoy delicious food, beverage and maybe even a little wrestling!
